Here are some of my favourite images, so far from High Park in spring this year. We’re heading back this evening and hoping that the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom and maybe that we will see some more birds. Last time we were there, we saw several orioles, a flicker and a kingfisher, but only the swans have co-operated for photos.
This snowy owl was picked up injured by Toronto Animal Services and taken to Toronto Wildlife Centre for rehabilitation and release. I snapped a quick shot of him in the back of the truck with my iPhone and then did some “magic” on it Last update on him was that he was being re-acclimatized to the weather outside in preperation for release.
So, a wicked flu is kicking my ass, but I got more good news today! Another of my iPhone photos (“Boat Dreams on a Hill”) was accepted into a gallery show, “The Third Wave” in Berkeley, California and Bremen Germany! Hmmm…the other show my work was accepted into this week is at The 3rd space gallery, I’m thinking it may be time to go looking for a lottery ticket with a lot of 3’s!
3 of my hipstamatic photos were selected to appear in The App Wars: A Mobile Photo Exhibition at the 3rd Space Gallery in San Diego. Problem is, I can’t exactly remember which photos I submitted…I THINK it was these 3.
